Remaining Schedule for the Contenders

Below are the all the MLS teams with any kind of realistic shot at the MLS Cup Playoffs this year including how many points they currently have, what their playoff position is, and who they play the rest of the season.

As you can see, the teams on the outside looking in have an especially tall order considering San Jose and Seattle, the 7th and 8th place teams, have 2 of the 3 easiest remaining schedules. Meanwhile, FC Dallas, New York and Colorado, 4th through 6th place respectively, have the three toughest remaining schedules so there could be some significant changes in the final playoff picture as far as who plays where, but probably not dealing with who gets in.
